The brief
As part of the refurbishment works by library fit-out specialists, thedesignconcept, the roof was replaced and accessibility to the building improved. The internal environment including the colour scheme, signage, furniture layout and design were also given a fresh new look during the refurbishment. The library provides a vast amount of services and facilities including, free wi-fi, bookable access to spaces, book clubs, film clubs, children’s activities and regular workshops.
Our solution
Postura+ stackable seating in forest green, poppy red, sun yellow & tangerine – Adding a splash of colour to complement the bright new interiors, the Postura+ chair was an ideal addition to the library. The chair’s excellent ergonomic design ensures maximum comfort for the user.
Matrix high density stacking chairs in sunburst and tangelo – Designed by Thomas Tolleson, the Matrix chair is comfortable, durable and elegant while allowing the user to easily move the seating arrangement to suit their needs.
