KI’s Postura+ chairs add colour and functionality at Mosley Academy
With the help of KI’s iconic Postura+ chairs, educational furniture specialists Incube Ltd designed the layout for a classroom in Mosley Academy, a primary school located in Burton-On-Trent, Staffordshire, which resulted in a colourful, functional and child-friendly environment.
Having worked with Incube in the past, Matthew Baxter, the Head teacher of Mosley Academy, was keen to invite the company to create an eye-catching furnishing scheme for a classroom in his new school.
It was crucial that the furniture would provide everything required for the sake of practicality, as well as having an engaging and vibrant feel that would enhance the school experience for the children and teachers alike. Using a newly developed furniture range called Colourful Classrooms, which includes KI’s Postura+, Incube’s highly experienced team was able to create a bright and stimulating space.
KI’s Postura+ chairs in Lime Zest, Grape Crush, and Tangerine Fizz were chosen for the project as they offer a bright, yet budget-friendly seating option from a trusted and recognised supplier. Postura+ chairs can be stacked up to 12 high on the floor. This was a very appealing feature as it allows for versatile configurations in a multipurpose classroom.
Matthew Baxter comments: "The furniture has transformed our learning environment. Both the children and staff are desperate to work in the newly-refurbished classroom."
The lower back lumbar design ensures perfect ergonomics whilst the graduating seat curve supports 'perch' and 'full' sitting positions and the unique waterfall edge of the seat provides comfort. The angled back legs prevent the chair from rocking or slipping and will not twist or distort. Postura+ is fully BS EN1729 certified with high fire retardancy. The chair is anti-static and stain-resistant, helping it to stay cleaner for longer.
