KI’s MyWay modular education lounge seating now available in the UK
KI’s MyWay® adaptive lounge seating was designed specifically for contemporary education environments. Modular and easy to reconfigure, it ergonomically supports a ‘sit-as-you-like’ approach, giving users the freedom to comfortably connect, collaborate, socialise and relax in their preferred seated position.
The collection consists of individual chairs that can be specified with any combination of arm styles - conventional arms, arms embedded with a laminate work surface (left or right hand), or a low arm. These individual units can then be pushed together to create various combinations such as love seats or sofas, or simply be used separately on their own.
Each piece features a convenient storage area under the seat to keep bags or other materials close to hand, yet out of the way. Available in a variety of matching or contrasting upholstery options, the collection can be enhanced with optional integrated cup holders and power/USB modules. Available with either a sled base or tapered metal legs, the collection is completed with a range of matching side and coffee tables available in numerous laminate finishes.
First launched by KI in 2013, MyWay® has been very popular with colleges, universities, and workplaces across North America. Ideal for a variety of college and university waiting, lounge, and study areas, MyWay® is robust, comfortable and versatile, created to meet the unique requirements of learning spaces of the future.
Alison Mallett, KI’s National Sales Manager – Education, comments: "By introducing MyWay® into the UK education market, KI is once again demonstrating a unique strength in creating products specifically with the student experience in mind. The features and versatility of the collection cater specifically to the needs of today’s learning environments, supporting innovative pedagogies and the latest technology."
