Clerkenwell Design Week 2019, 21-23 May 2019
KI, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of workplace and education furniture, will host a variety of events at its debut Clerkenwell Design Week popup showroom, in May 2019. The calendar of talks and workshops on each day will provide architects, designers and furniture specialists with new ideas to improve their projects.

- Making more with PET felt Workshop with Freyja Sewell RCA, designer Harness felt’s fantastic properties by learning how to move from an idea to fabrication, transforming a felt sheet into a simple bowl to take home.
- A house with no windows, filled with light Josh Goldstein, owner, Paxton Locher House Standing in this house’s glorious atrium, you’d forget that it has no windows. See how innovative architecture helped to overcome the challenges of this location.
Food, drinks & fun:
Weather permitting, the atrium’s retractable roof will be opened up. Throughout each day, light refreshments and drinks will be available. The flagship event will be a ‘House Party’ co-hosted with Bute Fabrics, on the evening of Wednesday, 22 May. Guests can look forward to games, competitions, and giveaways in a relaxed, homely and fun atmosphere.
